Getting started
Your first few minutes with RevBook.
How do I create an account?
Open RevBook and sign in with Apple or Google. No password required — your account is created automatically on first sign-in.
How do I add my first vehicle?
Go to the Garage tab and tap the + button. Enter your vehicle's make, model, year, and optionally the VIN and odometer reading.
How do I record a drive?
Tap the record button on the home screen or Garage. RevBook tracks your route, speed, and distance in the background. Tap Stop when you're done to save and review your drive.
02
Vehicles & records
The service book, and the people you share it with.
How do I log a service or repair?
Open the vehicle, go to the Record tab, and tap + to add a service entry, repair, parts replacement, or document. You can attach photos and receipts to each entry.
How do I transfer a vehicle to a new owner?
Go to the vehicle settings and tap Transfer Ownership. This generates a transfer code you give to the new owner. Once they claim it, the vehicle moves to their account and is removed from yours.
03
Account & data
Backups, sign-in trouble, and leaving if you ever want to.
How do I back up my data?
Go to Settings → Backup. You can enable iCloud backup (via CloudKit) or Google Drive backup. Structured data (vehicles, records, drives) is backed up automatically. Photos are stored on RevBook's servers separately.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Your account and all associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.
How do I report a post, comment, or user?
Tap the ··· menu on any post, comment, or profile and select Report. We review all reports and aim to respond within 24 hours.
I can't sign in. What should I do?
Make sure you're using the same sign-in method (Apple or Google) you used when creating your account. If you used Apple and hid your email, you'll need to sign in with Apple again — the email is not required. If you're still stuck, email us and we'll help.
